my daughter has these shoes and she loves them (kind of). When she has to do athletics, this is going on and seem to be comfortable and elegant (we got muddy them once and I found them quite easy to clean and restore a reasonable State). a complaint of my daughter (and I do not know whether this is valid or not) is that it feels like the velcro not being cramped for her (she is five). She is constantly asking me to tighten the velcro on her shoes. I don't know if it is a fair criticism shoes or my daughter's idiosyncrasies, but that is my experience with these. large velcro shoe, possibly gets loose
